The company, with registered headquarters in Juia, Spain, is engaged in the production and processing of meat and meat products. It is one of the pioneering group in this field to have an ISO-based Quality Assurance System, which includes the necessary measures to operate an HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) system. The company was incorporated in the year 1987. The company involves in the cutting of pig carcasses within the framework of Spanish law and EU regulations, subject to Quality System controls based on UNE-ISO 9001/2000, HACCP and the oversight of the Official Veterinary Service. It provides more than 1,000,000 pigs a year, equivalent to some 100 million kg. Since January 2003, the company has operated its own foodstuff control laboratory which is recognised by the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Regional Government of Catalunya and is authorised by the Health and Social Security Department.
